My last night before rest days, all over and done with.  It's a good feeling!  Apparently I managed to miss the sole excitement of the evening, namely a drunk who wanted to rant about the poor service (we were running a good off-peak service...) and who had to be bundled into the staff toilets because he was on the verge of messing himself.  Nice. 

As usual due to Bounds Green being closed we had loads of people overshooting their station (there you go, nice hint as to where I was...) because apparently train drivers aren't announcing it in time - only doing so *after* the train has left the previous station, for instance.  I have a bit of sympathy for most of them (especially as if they had had the chance to get off in advance they wouldn't have had to cross a zone boundary, and there really *should* be announcements) but the bloke who told me "this is the third time this has happened to me" just boggled my mind.  You'd think after the second time, at least, he'd be a bit more clued up...

The highlight of the day was probably getting my payslip.  Shame the money doesn't go in until tomorrow, really.
